Why Women?

  1. The female population is currently at 13.9 million and rising.
  2. Over 24% of our nation’s professionals are women, and there are about 83,000 female entrepreneurs. These are women with increasing disposable income to spend.
  3. Women in top management positions (public sector) increased to 30.5% in 2010, pointing to increased disposable income.
  4. 52.7% of postgraduate Masters degree applicants are women, with more opportunities available them.
  5. Women account for 46.4% of the workforce, too large a percentage to ignore.
  6. Government assistance for female entrepreneurs will see almost 4,000 female entrepreneurs by 2012. Female entrepreneurs

Women pay more attention to detail.

Women use the internet to network, communicate, get opinions and research about brands, products and services.

Women are more likely to share their experiences with others – in today’s internet age, a good experience is very quickly made known to her group of friends. A bad experience, even faster!

Women don’t think, react or feel the same way as men. Most importantly, women don’t communicate in the same way as men.

Brands that can listen to and understand women and be able to give them what they want/need will be well placed to earn loyalists and advocates.
